How do I set a loop on a YouTube video? expand_more
- Navigate to any YouTube video
- Look for the loop control bar below the video player
- Click "Set Start" or press [ to mark the beginning of your loop
- Click "Set End" or press ] to mark the end
- Press L to toggle looping on/off
Can I save my loops for later? expand_more
Yes! Free users can save up to 3 loops per video. Pro users have unlimited saved loops plus cloud sync to access them across all devices. Click the bookmark icon in the loop control bar to save your current loop.
What are the keyboard shortcuts? expand_more
- L - Toggle loop on/off
- [ - Set loop start point
- ] - Set loop end point
- Shift + L - Clear loop
- < - Decrease playback speed
- > - Increase playback speed
You can customize these shortcuts in the extension settings.
Does it work on embedded YouTube videos? expand_more
Currently, YouTube Looper Pro only works on youtube.com. Support for embedded videos on other websites is planned for a future update.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription? expand_more
You can manage your subscription from the extension popup (click "Manage Subscription") or contact us at support@youtubelooperpro.site. You'll keep Pro access until the end of your billing period.
Troubleshooting
warning Extension not showing on YouTube
Try these steps:
- Refresh the YouTube page
- Make sure the extension is enabled in chrome://extensions
- Clear your browser cache and try again
- Disable other YouTube-related extensions that might conflict
warning Loop not working properly
If loops are skipping or not working:
- Make sure the video has fully loaded
- Try setting a slightly longer loop (at least 2 seconds)
- Disable hardware acceleration in Chrome settings
- Update Chrome to the latest version
warning Keyboard shortcuts not working
If shortcuts aren't responding:
- Click on the video player first to give it focus
- Make sure you're not typing in a text field
- Check if shortcuts are customized in extension settings
- Some shortcuts may conflict with YouTube's built-in shortcuts
